SHOCKING! Why Doctors Don't Offer Discount Prescription Cards

Studies show that about 67% are experiencing financial hardships and 47% of patients neglect to discuss financial hardship to their physicians during visits and doctors neglect to ask.

Just as interesting the main complaint from physicians (medical adherence) was that there is not enough compliance with medical instructions; 37% said many patients don't carry out medical instructions.

This is a lose lose situation where the doctor isn't effectively communicating with their patients and the patient can not effectively adhere to medical advice leading to worsening health or worse.

Why Doctors Don't Offer Patients Discount Prescription Cards

This is an issue I can not fully address. I believe doctors should be the main distribution point of these Discount Prescription Cards if their main goal is to make sure their client have every help possible attaining the medications prescribed.

However, this is not currently the case. I suggest every distributor to go into doctors offices and medical facilities and offer the cards to be order at no cost when needed; this will help thousands save on costly medication and save lives in the process.

Doctors Too Distracted

In The Practice Profitability Index, the percentage of physicians who spend more than one day per week on paperwork increased from 58% in 2013 to 70% in 2014.
This trend is eroding physicians’ on-the-job happiness. “The physicians I know truly enjoy spending time with patients and teaching, and anything that takes them away from that is a negative,” says Henry Borkowski, MD. In one sign of how squeezed many feel, 81% said they were overextended or at full capacity, according to The Physicians Foundation survey.
